Joe Craven:

Joe Craven is a sound farmer, creativity educator, music producer, multi-instrumentalist, and former museologist. For over 40 years, he has made a living preserving and playing forward the folk tradition by reimagining it as new music. Joe has recorded and played with Jerry Garcia, David Lindley, David Grisman, Vassar Clements, Rob Ickes, Alison Brown and many other innovative artists. He’s made and produced many recordings, including the critically acclaimed CDs “Camptown”, ”Django Latino” and “Garcia Songbook”.  

 

As an educator, Joe is featured in the PBS television series, Music Gone Public and he is the Director of RiverTunes’ bundle of camps, including, JAMboree and Vocáli Voice Camp. He’s a recipient of the Folk Alliance Far-West Performer of the Year Award and the Swannanoa Gathering’s Master Music Maker Award. Joe has also been a Master of Ceremonies at music festivals, including Delfest, Telluride Bluegrass, Grand Targhee Bluegrass, High Sierra, Live Oak, Wintergrass, Hangtown and Millpond  Music Festivals. Joe has presented at over 500 schools, colleges and universities. He teaches privately online and makes house calls offering one on one and community/group based workshops. He is also a weekend poet and eulogist. He sleeps occasionally.

Anna Elva:

Born & raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Anna Elva Cucciardo has been drumming since 1997. Averaging 100+ performances per year, Anna can be found on stage with some of the Bay Area's most notable jam/improvisational rock musicians like Reed Mathis, Stu Allen, Matt Hartle, Mark Karan, Joe Craven, Scott Guberman, Jon Chi, Alex Jordan and bands such as China Dolls, American Beauties, Smokedaddies, Like a Rose, Lovin' Dead, Jenerator and many others. Anna also performs the music of Phish, Zappa and Grateful Dead across the country with Marcus Rezak. She is the proud mother to Levon and honored to be director/drum instructor at Music Time in Livermore.

 

Jordan Feinstein: 

Jordan is one of SF's go-to Keyboard players - he's a regular in 30 or so bands as well as leading his own, Jordan and the RituaL. He’s currently the musical director for Jay Lane and the Mayhem. He also runs a project studio in sf - Studio 352. He has also played with national acts such as G Love and Special Sauce, ALO, Tea Leaf Green, Anders Osborn, Brett Dennen, George Porter Jr. and many more.

 

Hattie Craven:

Having grown up in a musical household & community, Hattie  Craven has lived and breathed music since her early years. Her father, Joe Craven,has been a continuous source of inspiration, fueling Hattie’s own exciting musical journey. 

Moving through theater, dance and music has provided a confidence and a magnetic stage presence that shines brightly to this day. She proudly holds three CDs that are a testament to her creativity beginning at 11 to her current age of 25.

Hattie reimagines traditional folk, bluegrass, country, jazz and pop…creating new music that is truly her own, while continuously writing original songs that explore themes of love, loss, and resilience. Her music connects on a more personal level with every heart she catches.
